Frequently Asked Questions
-
We offer non-surgical skin lesion removal that is a safe, gentle and effective way for removing most types of benign skin lesions and growths.
-
Our method uses a topical acetic solution that is precisely applied to the lesion, thereby constricting it’s blood supply and destroying the irregular cells while preserving the surrounding skin and preventing the inflammation and scarring caused by surgical techniques.

Depending on how your skin lesions are innervated, you may feel a mild to moderate stinging sensation that lasts for a few minutes or nothing at all. Some patients even report the sensation to be pleasurable. In certain cases, such as when we are treating a lesion in a sensitive area, such as upon the eyelid or the inside of the lip, the discomfort can be more severe but still only lasts for a few minutes.
-
Most lesions fall off within 2-4 weeks, replaced by new, healthy skin that is fully healed within 2-4 months.
-
Taking care of your skin after the treatment is quite simple. You should try to keep it dry for the first 12-24 hrs and then brief periods of water exposure are fine. There is no need to cover the scab as it heals, but you will want to protect it from direct sun exposure and keep the borders moist with Vitamin E, coconut oil or a healing salve of your choice. Avoid picking off the scab prematurely, but after it falls off on its own you can cover the entire spot with a healing salve daily for at least a month.
-
Exact pricing depends on the type, size, location and total number of lesions treated; with a progressive discount for multiple lesions treated during the same visit.
Treating 1 - 5 lesions typically costs in the range of $125-$250.
Treating 6 - 20 lesions typically costs in the range of $250-$500.
